The First 11 Days

In beginning the 111 Days Transformation Challenge, we knew there would be a lot to adjust, including learning new habits, schedules, and discipline. We gave ourselves 11 days at the start to get acclimated before the strong 100 Days push.

Some things are the type that your body needs to get stronger in doing, such as doing weight lifting workouts each day. Muscles need time to adapt and get used to being used regularly. Other things take some practice to get used to doing them, or efficiency in order to fit them in.

We’ve tried to make our plans specific, such as Sohyun setting a timer for 1 hour while she posts in the community, or such as Melkije going for a walk/jog as soon as he wakes up each morning. But even though they are specific, they still take some practice and getting used to.

We know that many days, especially during the initial 11 Day Ramp-Up period, won’t be perfect. And being perfect isn’t the primary goal here anyway. But, still, by the end of the first 11 days, we hope to be in a condition where we are doing most of the items we are planning to do each day and not so much in start-up mode where we are overwhelmed trying to fit it in or adapt to the schedule.

So, we are marking the calendar for Day 12: Saturday July 12th, as the first of the final 100 days, meaning the 11 day ramp-up period has finished and we are in full motion for all of our activities and goals!
