Melkije’s Goals

1. Physical Transformation

  1. Lose remaining extra belly fat: 12.5% body fat

  2. Gain muscle strength, especially in legs/glutes

  3. Reach optimal body weight: 73 kg

  4. Reach optimal blood levels for blood glucose, blood sugar, cholesterol and triglycerides without needing medication

  5. Be able to do an all-day mountain hike.

2. Emotional Transformation

  1. Face fears, whether from current, past, or future, and live without them governing my emotions.

  2. Learn to express feelings, including disappointment or discouragement, without sulkiness.

  3. Learn to have my non-verbal communication and tone match my true feelings and what I intend to express.

3. Korean Transformation

  1. Speak in Korean all the time as the default language I speak.

  2. Be able to use 6,000 words in Korean (6000 most frequently used) and recall them instantly when needed.

  3. Be able to give speech/vows in Korean at our wedding and express feelings & emotions in a meaningful way.

  4. Be able to speak comfortably with Sohyun and her family in Korean without needing translation help.

  5. Be able to speak comfortably and skillfully in business conversations in Korean, such as at the next music video shoot, and be able to communicate the depth of what I’m trying to express.

4. Relationship Transformation

  1. Above everything else, my relationship with Sohyun is the most important thing in life, and I will be present in a way that shows that this is true.

  2. Live in the present rather than past or future, and be grateful for the life we have today.

  3. Have a fun, light, and positive demeanor and mood.

5. Productivity Transformation

  1. Use each moment of each day in order to get everything done that is needed.

  2. Learn to avoid distractions and zoning out or escaping when overwhelmed.

  3. Stop making lists and constantly planning and focus instead on doing.
